Manager, Warehouse and Supply Chain


The Rebuilding Together Houston Warehouse and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance and operations of two warehouse locations. Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of materials, tools and equipment. The goal is to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.


  • Manages warehouse operations and ground maintenance at two locations.

  • Plans and monitors optimal space utilization

  • Oversees and coordinates all receiving and distribution operations

  • Maintains efficient inventory for all work projects

  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of the warehouse locations and outside storage areas

  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

  • Ensure appropriate training of all warehouse staff, volunteers and visitors on warehouse safety, and security

  • Responsible for warehouse equipment and tools, including forklifts, pilot jacks, etc.

  • Liaise between ToolBank, RTH staff, volunteer crews, and vendors, ensuring the correct tools, rentals, and consumables are dispatched in an orderly and timely fashion

  • Assist volunteer crews with problem resolution on construction site, direct them on materials required to complete the job, providing supplies where necessary

  • Manage RTH fleet maintenance program, ensuring vehicle registration and inspections are up to date

  • Purchase materials, tools, equipment, and rentals as needed for completion of work projects

  • Work as “on-site Team Captain” during special events with volunteer crews

  • Reconcile monthly procurement card transactions

  • Approve and process warehouse utility invoices

  • Utilize Salesforce database to monitor volunteer work calendars for upcoming events and enter resource inventory for work sites

  • Assist Volunteer Repair Manager with work events and completion reports


  • This position has direct oversight of the Warehouse Project Coordinator position.


  • Associate or business degree mandatory, requiring a minimum 5-10 years of experience in a related field

  • Strong math skills required

  • Construction or Facility Operations industry experience preferred

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong mentoring, coaching experience to teams with diverse levels of expertise

  • Must be Fork Lift certified and able to lift 60 lbs on a regular basis, lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally


  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, experience with Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Familiar with Google Suite and experience with Salesforce preferred


  • Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 Annually

Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining payroll and financial records for Rebuilding Together Houston.


  • Processes invoices for payment

  • Prepares deposit postings in QuickBooks (i.e., cash, checks and all forms of e-deposits)

  • Prepares and distributes timesheet template to all non-exempt staff for payroll

  • Processes bi-monthly payroll using Oasis Outsourcing

  • Downloads and processes monthly corporate credit card e-files

  • Audits and processes employee reimbursements and credit card statements

  • Reconciles multiple business credit card accounts in QuickBooks

  • Provides company QuickBooks financial reports to management

  • Protects integrity of account records on QuickBooks.

  • Assists with annual and other compliance audits

  • Assists auditing firm with preparation of IRS Form 990

  • Prepares IRS form 1099 and 1098 statements (independent contractors and In-Kind donations)

  • Works closely with Controller to ensure monthly and annual financials are closed and maintained according to GAAP standards

  • Prepares journal entries in QuickBooks, as directed by Controller and Chief of Staff

  • Coordinates the sale of stock donations and records appropriate entries in QuickBooks

  • Assists with maintenance or changes to corporate bank accounts and/or bank authorized signers

  • Prepares funding bank transfers as directed by RTH Management

  • Other administrative duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields

  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Deadline and detail-oriented


  •  Salary: $17 to $19 Hourly
